All I'm saying is why use a closed in "thesis repository" when one can
upload anywhere on their own individual initiative? How far can this thesis
repository really reach? Is it little more than a couple steps down the
ivory tower? I want to see you fly out the window instead!
Other than this, your reply both ignores most of what I said and seems to
misconstrue the rest...

I have a difficult time recalling when I implied this general idea at all!
"Providing an archive" is one thing -- but what type of archive is it and
who is it speaking to? Since the rest of your response is based on this
prism (and not what I had said), I'll let it roam free ;)
