I merely wondered what CC had to do with free culture. I didn't suggest that
this list required ideological purity.
CC's ideology is not even related to free culture, but authorial
empowerment.
There are other mailing lists for CC evangelists.
Free culturalists can persuade CC license users toward the more liberal
licences, but this persuasion isn't coming from CC.

Can cultural freedom be alienating?
Can it alienate readers of this list?
Are you suggesting that equating free culture with CC enabled authorial
benison is the most appealing message to present and thus sufficient to
define the movement?
