I've been waiting to see the revisions from the July 29th IRC
meeting. Now, as of Tuesday, there's no By-Laws text at all -- which
I can appreciate -- but the mission statement up there still doesn't
reflect the discussion. I thought it was pretty clear at that time
that people were going to use some other phrasing and not use the term
"intellectual property," and there was a whole discussion on that
point. Certainly Gavin wasn't keen on taking it out, but I thought
the outcome was that the discussion produced at least one or two
phrasings that did not include that term.
