Realising the need for a way to introduce the Free Culture movement to
a lay audience, who may not necessarily have the technical background
many in the movement take for granted, I have tried to write a simple
introduction to the core ideas of the movement.
Here, the ethical aspect has been covered in the introduction, but the
main thrust of the work is on the economics of how the system works.
It is not apparent, though, that this is the focus (because most
people run away when they hear the word "Economics") - I have almost
completely avoided using economic terminology, as this is aimed
towards college students at all levels, and in all fields, and thus it
would be inadvisable to assume a knowledge of economics beyond that
which can be expected from everyone.
I am posting this to FC-discuss for comments and criticism, as I am
sure that many here will be able to spot logical flaws or gaps in the
writing far better than I could. As this is under a CC Share-Alike
license, it is also open for all to use under those terms. For
instance, someone in the USA could modify it to fit their context, by
changing the examples, or in some other way.

I would be grateful for any and all feedback.
