[FC-discuss] An essay introducing the FC movement to students -request comments and criticism (Jonah Bossewitch)

while we're sharing essays, i began writing this section on
free-culture-type issues into an essay about freedom in general and my
search for more of it, but it ended up being a little less relevant to my
thesis than a couple of my other topics, so i cut it out after writing half
of it.  I thought i should put it up on the interwebs in case anyone would
like to build on it to make the kind of short intro to the issues that you
guys have been talking about.  Keep in mind that I wrote it before reading
all of Free Culture by Lessig, so there are bound to be some inaccuracies
and general oversights.  The one thing that it has going for it is that it
uses concrete examples that people will hopefully be able to relate to.
