Actions that will generate mainstream media coverage -- with the
emphasis on how this will deny financial aid to students who committed
no crime.

Most of the coverage of this has been in industry media (technology and
academic circles). Clearly the insider organizing hasn't been enough --
we need parents calling to ask why they're going to take their kid's
student aid away.

Oh, and why isn't there MASSIVE organizing on Facebook and MySpace
against this?

(Aside: I've been absolutely dismayed by the ineffectual nature of the
organizing in this issue. The coalition against this trash is, sadly,
neither big enough nor loud enough. Changing that has to be one of the
top policy priorities for SFC and others who care about this. Even if
this never touches the Senate floor, it makes us look weak to have let
this run so far.)
