[FC-discuss] House passes COAA with p2p provisions intact

This issue does need to blow up, yes, but I really don't think it's
likely that the media will find "something for everyone" in this story.
In my mind, the media sees that p2p = piracy, which is bad and wrong and
shouldn't ever be defended. Elizabeth recently had to write a letter to
correct a similar bias, though I may be remembering the incident
incorrectly (apologies if so).

I agree that it's the parents who have to make a ruckus on this one, but
the question is how many we can education in a relatively short timeframe.

I'm not at all trying to discourage organization and mobilization on
this issue, I'm just trying to carefully identify the factors I view as
most problematic, so they can be dealt with. I'm glad this was brought
up here.
