[FC-discuss] Transportation/couch for Lessig's Stanford talk

Hey all,
I'm working on getting to Stanford to see Lessig's last free culture
talk, and I'm very interested in shooting it for a documentary I'm
developing on the movement. His talk happens to coincide with my move
out to Cali, so I'm working on getting from OC to Stanford (actually
from PA to OC to Stanford) and getting a place to stay while I'm
there. Plane tickets aren't much of a problem, but a bed is. Since
it's rather last minute, I'm having trouble finding places to stay
that aren't out of my spending range.
For anyone from the area, I had a question and a request. Firstly, is
there a good public transportation system between the airport and the
university? If so, I could fly in for the day and never have to worry
about sleep. If not, here's my rather hippy-ish request: if anyone is
in the area and has an extra couch, I would be incredibly grateful to
use it for the night after Lessig's talk, especially if you live on
campus. If that isn't possible, transportation to and from San Jose
airport would also be appreciated.
If anyone's willing to offer any of these, please send me an e-mail.
I'd certainly be willing to cover gas costs, etc.
Best,
// Matt
