http://freeculture.org/chapters/ is such a map, I think. It'd be great to 
get it more up-to-date! Feature suggestions would be great, too, and I'd 
love to see us make that map more inviting / exciting. (Adding news from 
the chapters, for example?)

Great question. Let's think that through at FC X, and be sure to have our 
minutes posted to the wiki so non-FC Xers can see it too.
