This is true, and I also hope they add some way for users to donate.  wp had
perhaps 500M people see its funddrive message, and the wikimedia foundation
has been building a dedicated donor list and messaging platform for a few
years... if they want to go that route, it will take some work.

Jamendo is a fantastic project, but a different staff to user ratio; may
need a more active model for support (and a way for their user community to
directly do some things currently handled by staff?)  I hope they can find a
way to keep basic services up.

Wikipedia just raised a ton of money via its users; I don't know how
large a user-base Jamendo has, but I've wished for a long time that
they'd have some sort of paid option for users. I really want to
support what they're doing, and I've always plugged them when I can...
I hope they find a way to let me help them financially.
