I bet Transformative Works and Culture is a journal that would appeal
to many in the FC community. They've covered a lot of areas of fandom
that overlap with the interests of SFC members.

Something I've always admired about vidding is the peer-to-peer
mentorship by which vidding skills have been passed down over the
years. Imagine learning to remix music videos using two VCRs and a
cassette deck back in the 1980s?

The vidding community deserves our respect and humble admiration. They
developed a vocabulary for reusing pop cultural artifacts that formed
a foundation for so much of what we admire in internet culture today.

Thanks for the heads up, Peter!

Kevin
