If I'm not mistaken, it's from Cosmos, and probably set to music in the
last of the videos on that page.
If it was borrowed/taken from something before that, I have no idea.

Yeah, SymphonyofScience is really cool. I always liked Carl
Sagan - When I was a kid the Cosmos series was on PBS. I enjoyed it a
lot. It's great to see him come to life in one of these Remixes.
